Tea for Two In Box Number One

I didn't get anymore furniture done this week, however, I did an experiment, that I am liking. My friend told me about this furniture, that was on the curb...Yes, I will get something off the curb...It was a desk and night stand. They were in too bad of shape to re-do, (maybe they had fire and water damage???) They were that bad, but the drawers, I did like. So. I took them out, they were in fair shape. I decided to make some cool planters out of them, or boxes for center pieces, to put on a table or large ottoman...Here is one I have complete. I did a tea service in it.  I think I am going to paint each one different, and put different types of accessories in them, to show the versatility. This is true re-purposing.  Also, I found a little pillow at the Cotton Mill- Flea Market. It was super cheapy, $9 and I had to have it cause, on it is written, I Love You To The Moon And Back, and that is what my kids and I always say to each other..... So here is box  number 1 and a sweet little pillow!  Love-Enjoy!!

Grandma's teacups! I decoupaged scrap book paper in the front panel. This drawer, I just sprayed with a gray paint and dry brushed a little chalk paint, then sanded a little bit...done

oh Lawdy, you have been thru the ringer.....

I always clean stuff with clorox wipes too, before painting....to get rid of the bubonic plague that may be on it....

Do Yall see this clean room???? This almost never happens!!! My room happens to be that "catch all" for the rest of the house, I will bask in the cleanliness today!!!! These walls have been blue for 13 years, they are about to get a fresh, new dress on.....I am still pondering color choices...Design Indulgence, if you read this, throw a color at me....
